Features

Import DMLSS hand receipts

Drop in your DMLSS Custodian Receipt PDF or text export and the parser pulls every item — ECN, NSN, nomenclature, serial number, location, and acquisition cost — into a per-DODAAC database.

  • PDF and TXT export support
  • Auto-DODAAC detection from Customer ID
  • Each hand receipt isolated in its own database
  • Component lists and price tracking

ML-powered label scanning

Point your camera at an equipment label and the on-device YOLO11 segmentation model finds it, deskews it, and runs OCR to read the ECN. Native Vision OCR on iOS, ML Kit on Android, Tesseract on the web.

  • YOLO11-seg detection (TFLite + ONNX)
  • GPU acceleration: Metal, CoreML, NNAPI, OpenGL
  • Native OCR: Vision (iOS), ML Kit (Android)
  • Manual crop fallback when auto-detect misses

Indoor positioning & mislocation alerts

Hybrid GPS + WiFi fingerprinting tracks where each item lives in your warehouse. Items that drift from their stated location are flagged automatically with a suggested correction.

  • Room calibration with reference points
  • WiFi fingerprint clustering
  • Automatic mislocation detection
  • Per-item location confidence scoring

Team sync & export

Optional cloud sync via Firebase keeps your team on the same hand receipt across devices. Export everything to CSV, JSON, or Excel whenever you need it for an inspection or audit.

  • Real-time Firestore sync with team support
  • CSV, JSON, Excel export
  • Equipment photos with captions
  • Scan history timeline per item

Built for the medical warehouse

Hand Receipt is built for the people responsible for thousands of pieces of medical equipment under a DMLSS-issued custodian receipt. It runs entirely on-device by default — no account, no internet — and only syncs to the cloud when you sign in. Your inventory belongs to you.

The scanner is the heart of the app. Instead of typing ECNs or hunting through paper, point the camera at the equipment, wait for the label box to lock, and the matching item from your hand receipt pops up. A typical inventory takes a fraction of the time, and every scan is timestamped, located, and saved to history.
