Schedule Wizard — Terms of Service
Version: tos-2026-04-11 • Effective: April 11, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Schedule Wizard (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
2. The Service
Schedule Wizard is staff scheduling and shift management software offered by L.E. Design (“we”, “us”). The Service is currently in beta and is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload Protected Health Information (PHI) or any data subject to HIPAA to the Service. See Section 5 below — this is a hard prohibition.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the Service’s source code outside of any open-source license that may apply.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam) to staff.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or third-party right.
5. PHI Exclusion
Important
Schedule Wizard is not HIPAA compliant and is not covered by a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with any cloud provider. You agree:
- You will NOT enter, upload, or transmit Protected Health Information (as defined under HIPAA) into any field, file, or attachment of the Service. This includes but is not limited to: patient names, diagnoses, treatment notes, billing codes, or any data that could be used to identify a patient.
- Free-text fields (notes, reasons, descriptions, comments) are redacted from logs and crash reports as a defense-in-depth measure, but the database itself stores them in cleartext. We cannot guarantee PHI safety in the database.
- If you paste PHI into the Service in violation of this term, you are solely responsible for any resulting compliance failures, breach notifications, or legal exposure. We accept no liability for PHI you introduce.
If your use case requires PHI handling, do not use this Service. Contact us at support@ledesign.dev and we can discuss whether HIPAA-compliant alternatives are available.
6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We retain the right to access your data only to operate, maintain, and support the Service; diagnose and fix bugs; and comply with applicable law. We will not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Service Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We target approximately 99% uptime during beta but make no formal availability guarantees. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Firebase, Google Cloud), and unforeseen incidents may cause downtime.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@ledesign.dev. We will delete your personal data within 7 days of receipt. Tenant-shared data (shifts, schedules) remains with the tenant unless the tenant owner also requests deletion. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranty. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to USD $100 or the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will prompt re-acceptance the next time you sign in. The version string (e.g., tos-2026-04-11) at the top of this document changes with every update; we record the version you accepted on your user profile.
