Action Advisor

Action Advisor is the umbrella term for two analytics surfaces that read your inventory and scan history and surface the most useful next step. Both run entirely on data already in your account — no external AI provider is involved.

Inventory turnover

The Inventory Turnover screen classifies every supply as a fast mover, moderate mover, slow mover, or stagnant item, then recommends where to optimize stock.

1. Open Admin › Inventory Turnover.
2. The summary cards show Total Items, Average Turnover (units/day), Fast Movers, Slow Movers, and Stagnant items over the last 30 days.
3. The Turnover Classification bar visualizes how your inventory is distributed across the four classes. Tap a legend chip to filter the table below.
4. The Item Analysis table sorts by turnover, current stock, days of stock remaining, or product name. Items with fewer than 7 days of stock are highlighted; stagnant items are flagged for reorder review.

Scan-pattern insights

The Scan Pattern Analysis dashboard tracks how you and your team move through the storeroom while scanning. Its Insights tab surfaces severity-tagged recommendations.

Each card carries a severity badge (CRITICAL, WARNING, INFO, or SUCCESS), a description of the pattern detected, the underlying metrics, and a concrete recommendation. Common insight types include:

• Backtracking — you revisit the same shelf within minutes too often.
• Clustering — consecutive scans stay near each other (good).
• Timing — recurring idle gaps in scan activity.
• Distance — average travel between scans is too high.

Open the dashboard from Admin › Scan Patterns, choose a date range, and switch to the Insights tab to see the recommendations. The Patterns and Team tabs visualize the underlying paths and team comparisons.
