Label reading for unknown products

When you scan a barcode that the app can't resolve — neither the FDA GUDID database nor your catalog has it — you can enter the remaining fields manually or use the optional AI label reader to help capture printed label text. The core scanner does not require AI or OCR.

1. Point the scanner at the barcode as usual. The GS1 parser still extracts whatever AIs it can read (GTIN, lot, expiration), but the lookup returns no product.
2. The result card switches to the Unknown product state shown above. The parsed AIs are pre-filled at the top.
3. If AI label reading is configured, capture the label image and review the extracted fields — product name, manufacturer, lot, and expiration — before accepting them.
4. Confirm or correct the fields and tap Register. The new product is saved to your catalog so future scans of the same GTIN resolve immediately.

Optional feature. You can skip AI label reading entirely and enter product details manually. If you enable it, use the AI provider configuration that matches your organization's data policy.
