1. Introduction

Schedule Wizard ("we", "our", "us", or "the app") is a product of Le Design, designed for managing team shift schedules. This Privacy Policy describes how the app collects, uses, and safeguards information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Local Data (Stored on Your Device)

• Schedule data — shift assignments, roles, dates, and times you create within the app.
• Team member names and role assignments you enter for scheduling purposes.
• Availability records — staff availability windows and time-off requests.
• App preferences and settings.

2.2 Optional Cloud Data (Requires Sign-In)

• Account information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from the identity provider.
• Synced schedule data: Schedules, assignments, and availability records sync to Firebase under your account for cross-device access and team sharing.
• Team membership: If you create or join a team, your account is associated with that team's shared schedules.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version (used for crash reports and analytics).
• Anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics, used to understand which features are used and to improve the app.
• Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics when the app crashes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core scheduling and team management features.
• To sync your data across devices when you are signed in.
• To send push notifications about schedule changes (only when you grant permission).
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability.
• To understand which features are used and guide future development.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising. Data is shared only with:

• Firebase (Google): For optional cloud sync, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Apple / Google: For identity verification when you sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.
• Your team members: Schedule data you explicitly share with a team is visible to other members of that team.

5. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Cloud data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings › Account › Delete Account).

6. Security

Data stored in Firebase is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to cloud data is controlled by Firebase Security Rules scoped to authenticated accounts and teams. Local data is protected by the device's operating system security.

7. Children's Privacy

Schedule Wizard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
