Schedule Wizard — Intelligent Shift Scheduler
Getting started
How do I create my first schedule?
Open the app and tap New Schedule. Give it a name and a date range, then add your team members and roles. From the schedule view, tap any empty slot to assign a shift.
How do I add team members?
Go to Team › Add Member. Enter their name and assign them a role. If cloud sync is enabled, you can invite them by email so they can see their own schedule on their device.
How do I publish a schedule so my team can see it?
Tap Publish from the schedule view. Team members who have joined your team in the app will receive a push notification and can view the published schedule immediately.
Conflict detection
Why is a shift flagged in red?
A red flag means the assignment violates one of your scheduling rules — such as a double-booking, a minimum rest period not met, or the team member being unavailable. Tap the flag icon to see the specific conflict.
How do I set scheduling rules?
Go to Settings › Scheduling Rules. You can configure minimum hours between shifts, maximum hours per week per role, and role-specific constraints.
Availability
How do team members submit their availability?
Team members open the app, go to My Availability, and mark the times they are and aren't available. This information is visible to the schedule manager when building shifts.
How do I request time off?
Go to My Availability › Request Time Off. Select the dates and add an optional note. Your manager will receive the request and can approve or decline it from the schedule view.
Sync and accounts
Do I need an account to use Schedule Wizard?
No. You can create and manage schedules entirely offline with no account. An account is only required if you want to share schedules with your team or sync across multiple devices.
How do I sign in and enable team sync?
Go to Settings › Account and sign in with Apple or Google. Once signed in, you can create a team and invite members by email.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings › Account › Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all cloud-synced data. Local data on your device is removed when you delete the app.
Exporting schedules
Can I export a schedule to PDF or spreadsheet?
Yes. Open the schedule, tap the share icon, and choose Export as PDF or Export as CSV. The PDF is formatted for printing; the CSV opens in any spreadsheet app.
